ear-ring

- Description
-
Gold earring, one of a matching pair. The simple penannular ring is rather crudely hammered from gold sheet, tapering to fine points at the ends. Irregularities on the gold appear to be traces of relief decoration, suggesting that the ring is made from re-used scrap gold. The workmanship is perfunctory.
