Plaque, rectangular; painted Limoges enamel on copper: Presentation in the Temple. Within a classical setting, Christ as a youth seated on a dais, Mary, Joseph and seven scribes, some in Renaissance attire. Painted on a white ground with polychrome semi-opaque enamel and polychrome translucent enamel over foil; details in gilt. Signed in gilt on seat '.I.L' Counter-enamel translucent and colourless.
