Description
Dish or bowl on low foot. Earthenware covered entirely with presumed tin glaze. Painted decoration on front with golden and pink lustre, with trees, a hilltop town and river. To the right of the river three men, one gesturing with his arm; left Latona with her two children, Apollo and Diana (with a crescent on her head). Subject from Ovid. On the reverse foliate scrolls in lustre.
