Description
Broad-rimmed bowl or plate with well. Earthenware covered on the front with presumed tin glaze; translucent glaze on the back. Painted and lustred decoration (golden and red): in the centre, Cupid, winged, standing bound and blindfolded. On the rim, grotesques incorporating four roundels with musical instruments, two of them carry an owner's mark, "S". On the reverse bands of yellow lustre and floral scrolls in red lustre.
