- Tonnochy noted that the bordure belonging to the arms is not seen on this seal.
These are the ancient arms of Burgundy but the arms of the dukes of Burgundy were so complicated under Charles the Bold that they could't appear on this small seal. It was used for private cases of the duke's household.
