A pewter plate with 'hooked' rim and gently sloping walls which terminate in a flat base on a pronounced cast footring. The plate is bright-grey and is bent and buckled. There are many scratches across the surface and a gash to the rim of the plate. On the underside, close to the footring, is the incised graffito MARTINVS.

- Assumed to be found with 1869.0726.3 and almost identical even with the same inscription. In silver, the form became popular through the 2nd and 3rd c. (S Künzl 1997, 23, Fig 12, no 1). (Smith 2011, cat. 055).
