Pottery cup with handle set below rim. There are three symmetrically spaced small flat knobs on upper body. The external surface is brown-grey and smoothed; the upper section of the internal surface is brown and the lower section grey, both are polished. The rim is damaged, two small knobs and the handle are missing.

Findspot: Schlieben (vicinity of); ‘Schlieben’. Imprecise location.
Objects with a findspot of ‘the vicinity of Schlieben’ are from various sites probably including Schweinert and Frankenhain cemeteries respectively, and the Burgwall earthwork. See chapter entitled: The Question of Provenance (p.33) in Orlinska 2001.
