Copper alloy socketed axe; cast. Oval mouth, rim rounded at top but is damaged. The upper narrow ridge is not present. The loop is worn, its ends extending onto body. Cutting edge expanded, now badly damaged and worn, especially on side opposite loop. Casting seams were trimmed. Surface is corroding. Haft rib extends half-way to rim.
