Gold plated penannular ring with copper alloy core, in two pieces. The body is circular in cross-section. Gold plating covers the whole of the core and is seamless over the body of the ring, except for the ends where the gold foil has been folded over onto itself and has creased. The ring has been broken by an earlier cut.

- Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the gold-plated ring from Ireland by the British Museum indicated a gold content of 78.4% for the foil plating and a copper content of 89.3% for the core.
