Intaglio; sard; engraved with: to left, beneath tree extending over half gem, figure with hands raised in attitude of prayer, Daniel between the lions?; in middle, Good Shepherd carrying the sheep across his shoulders, at his feet are two sheep and below, two fish; above head is star; monogram beneath right arm, towards which flies dove holding olive branch; right: story of Jonah, with ship, the monster and prophet reclining beneath the gourd which extends over a great part of the stone, almost meeting the tree; between the two is a star; mounted in gold ring.
