- Curator's comments
- Based on a print by L.Gaultier in the BNParis, showing marriage which took place in 1615, see E.Magne, Les fetes en Europe au XVII siecle, no date, p.363. This identification from Thierry Crepin Leblond at BLOIS, November 2002. DFT. note on file. The figure on the extreme right compares with a full-length portrait by Jean Limosin dated 1601 which was with Bernard Deschaemaekker in 2017, see his catalogue 16 [online], cat.12.
