Description
Bowl, earthenware covered front and back with a presumed tin-glaze. Painted on the front a landscape with seated monarch wearing a turban and crown, to the right a man in armour (Mucius Scaevola) holding a sword over a flaming altar. In the centre two shields of arms for Hopfer (dexter) and Ayrer (sinister).
