Hoard:
The Cuerdale Hoard
Description
Fragment of a silver narrow band arm-ring tapering towards one end. The other end is cut and damaged. The upper surface is decorated with two rows of stamped ornament, one comprising an angular stamp and the other a blob-like motif on a footed stem. Thirteen nicks are visible.
