Glass paste intaglio engraved with Orpheus seated to the right, surrounded by animals. He wears a Phrygian cap and long chiton, and plays the lyre. Behind him are two trees, one with birds in, the other with a serpent around (see BM Cat. Gem 3129).
Pen and ink with grey wash on a sheet of paper, which is stuck down onto a second sheet together with 2010,5006.931 - 934; the assemblage framed in a red ink border.
