Print from an album of 67 prints and drawings of bronzes and sculptures; marble relief from the lid of the sarcophagus of Marcus Sempronius Nicocrates. On either side of the inscribed panel are scenes of muses inspiring a poet and musician. To the right is a portrait, presumably of the deceased, and to the left is a mask. Greek inscription, partially in verse (BM Cat. Sculpture 2313)

- Album (2010,5006.1878.1-67), consists of 67 prints and drawings, most of which are representations of objects which belonged to Charles Townley. The album is bound in brown leather and tooled in gold on spine "DRAWINGS AND PRINTS MADE FOR C. TOWNLEY. / BRONZES AND SCULPTURES / DEPT. OF G. & R. ANTIQUITIES".
