Description
Terracotta figure of armed Ares. He is bearded and dressed in Macedonian armour of a cuirass and a pteryges. He has a Thracian style helmet and carries a Gaulish shield. He raises a weapon in his right hand. The figure is well preserved down to the legs which are mostly lost. There is a vent at the back.
