Pottery unguentarium in Cypriot Red Slip Ware; wheel-made; depressed piriform body with a long cylindrical neck ending with an annular rim; flat base; no handles; made of buff clay with a matt red slip; some scratches and calcination on the surface.

- See SCE IV/3 fig 30.15-17 for comparable types. The type and chronology of such unguentaria are also discussed by Anderson-Stojanović (1987, esp. fig 1).
A similar unguentarium has been documented at Salamis in the Ayios Seryios tomb 1 (See Karageorghis 1978 pl. XXVII, no.7). Another comparable vessel was found by McFadden in Burial 5 in the chamber of Tomb 8 at Ayios Ermoyenis (Kourion), dating to the first half of the first century AD (McFadden 1946, 480, pl. XLII, no.74).
