Mould-made pottery lamp with a flat shoulder and an inward-sloping moulded rim. The front of the lamp is missing, but probably had a voluted rounded-tipped nozzle. The discus is decorated with two lovers on a bed, both entertainers: the man reclines on a pillow with his left arm raised; the woman, naked except for a breast-band, holds castanets in each raised hand, and lowers herself back towards him. Within the slightly raised base is the impressed name "C.OPPI.RES". Traces of a brown slip remain.
