- Description
-
Terracotta female plank figurine; mould-made with undecorated back, slightly concave. The woman is shown standing with her arms by her sides. She appears to wear an ankle-length tunic, from under which her feet protrude; a cloak covers most of her head, with a short fringe (?) visible at the front. Made of buff clay with small inclusions: the white surface which covers most of the figurine, front and back, seems to be the result of accretion rather than firing.
