Pottery: reproduction mould-made plastic lamp in the form of a flat-bottomed boat, decorated in relief with hatchings, tendrils, chevrons, leaves, loops and studs. The deck area is taken up with a representation of a lamp of Hayes Type II, with a studded Sacred Monogram on the discus, two filling-holes, and an air-hole in the nozzle-channel. The wick-hole area is decorated with a bust of Christ in a square frame; the raised rim of the shoulder-frame is decorated with the heads of the Twelve Apostles, each with a raised nimbus. This `lamp' is surrounded by branches and leaves in relief. The stern area has two square filling-holes and a studded Sacred Monogram in relief. Covered with red-brown paint, with black paint on the nozzle. The stern is damaged.
