- Description
-
Pottery: red-figured volute-krater (bowl for mixing wine and water) with Dionysos accompanied by a youth and a woman. The other side shows Boreas, god of the North wind, seizing Oreithyia at an altar. On the right, the aged priestess flees, dropping the temple key. Below is a papposilenos, suggesting that the scene was inspired by a satyr play.
