East Greek terracotta scent bottle in the form of a sandaled foot; mould-made, slipped and painted; the spout is spool-shaped and ends in the in the form of a circular disc with a small pouring-hole; orange clay and slip, decorated with black and brown (with added white) paint: the relief straps of the the sandal are painted in brown, the petals on the spout in black with white detail and the toe-nails in white; this shoe is probably the type worn by soldiers known as the krepis.
