- For this simple type of meander and square compare a fragmentary amphora of the Altenburg group from Istria (Lambrino no.3, figs. 310-11: see above, p.I - J 10a). Perhaps this neck belongs to a similar amphora in the British Museum (Pl. 12.3; BM GR 1888,0208.50).
