Description
Shoulder sherd of Milesian Fikellura pottery amphora; interior reserved; exterior, white slip: row of black painted addorsed ivy leaves with dots in between above dividing band consisting of row of short strokes; at junction of shoulder and body, traces of undetermined black painted decorative pattern.

Curator's comments
Cook (1933-1934) suggests that the decorative pattern at the bottom of the sherd is perhaps the ear and tail of a hare on the body.
