Pottery: coarse ware beaker; light grey clay with black and red particles, medium lime, infrequent mica and some iron; overall thick matt brownish-black slip, flaking over rim and on decoration; discoloured firing ring around base; small everted rim, broad almost spherical body with ring foot, bevelled on exterior; decoration consists of applied scales of clay over most of body, columns of six to eight scales, alternating with two single scales; the scales are of irregular shape and size, poorly applied.
