- Description
-
Gold finger-ring with oval flat bezel. On the pointed oval bezel is engraved the standing figure of the goddess Artemis. She is dressed in a short chiton and an animal skin, with one breast left bare. There seems to be a chlamys over the back of her shoulders. She also wears soft boots and a necklace with pendants. She holds a pair of spears in her right hand and a phiale over the corner of an altar. There are two simple ground lines. The hoop, which appears to be a separate piece of gold soldered to the ends of the bezel, tapers towards the back.
