Curator's comments
Welch's letter of 16 June 1899 mentions an ivory disc in what is now known as Tomb A5, the only intact deposit form the cemetery, but also records examples in other tombs. See SCE IV/1D, 551-4 for further examples of LBA ivory discs and boxes.
