Pottery juglet with a black slip; piriform body on a low rounded base; relatively tall, narrow neck, with slightly concave sides; oval-sectioned handle arching from shoulder to rim; everted rim; partly worn black lustrous slip.

Curator's comments
Classified by Malmgren as Black Lustrous Wheelmade, but the fabric resembles Black Slip wares. The vessel may be an attempt to imitate or echo imported Tell Yahudiyeh juglets.
