Description
Green and white microline (feldspar/amazonite) cylindrical bead, forming a capped bead with the two gold caps 1898.12-1.192-3; polished surface; the perforation was drilled lengthways from each end.

Curator's comments
Described variously as glass (tomb list) or faience (BM jewellery catalogue, where it is ascribed to Maroni), Bailey correctly identified this bead as microline (feldspar or amazonite) and suggested that it was probably the cylindrical berd found with gold caps listed in this tomb group from Hala Sultan Tekke.
