Description
Pottery jug in Handmade Bucchero ware; ovoid body on a ring base, cylindrical neck, slightly concave, with horizontal ridges at the junction with the body and roughly mid-way; everted rim with carination; oval-sectioned handle arching from rim to shoulder. Made of buff-orange clay with burnished slip, fired red to black over the body of the vase; applied vertical rubs around the body; numerous small pits all over surface.
