One of five bronze nails found inserted into the wall of Tomb 66 for hanging objects, including a lamp and a silver bowl; slightly polygonal in section with parallel grooves down length apparently from shaving; one end tapered to a blunt point; the other end flat, with hammering marks; shown in centre in photograph.

- Curator's comments
- Notebooks of the excavation indicate that two of the pins were driven between stones to one side of the door and were supporting a blackened clay lamp. The other pins were also driven into the wall to support objects, one of which was the silver bowl 1897,0401.300.
