Hemispherical core-formed bowl of `network' mosaic glass; composed of canes of spirally twisted threads of four different colours: 1) clear blue with opaque yellow, 2) colourless with opaque white, 3) colourless with opaque yellow, 4) clear blue with opaque white. At the rim is a twisted band of clear blue with opaque white thread.

- Curator's comments
- A modern replica of this bowl was successfully made and presented to the British Museum by Iwao Matsushima (2016,6026.1). It shows that the original was made by core-forming rather than mould-pressing.
