Description
White Painted III pottery plate; conical profile with two strap horizontal handles (one missing); wheel-made; buff clay decorated with matt, dark brown paint: inside, band of paint around the rim and broad and narrow bands in centre, random blob of paint between rim and centre; underside with concentric bands around base framing intersecting triangles and row of lozenge flanked by ladders, intersecting triangles and herring-bone patterns on outer side; paint on surviving handle; rim chipped in three places.
