Curator's comments
See also Catling, CBMW, pp. 147-148 (Type A) for other examples of this common type. A second, fragmentary, bronze bowl was found inside this vessel; its present location is unknown and it was not assigned a BM registration number. The only other recorded find is a 'sub-Mycenaean' bowl, also not registered.
