Description
Small juglet in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; globular body with flat base; wide, slightly concave neck and everted rim; vertical loop handle from body to rim; pink-buff clay with thick, lustrous red slip and black painted decoration; band of four horizontal lines around the belly of the vase with single bands of varying widths on the neck and rim. Three groups of concentric circles regularly spaced around the shoulder; small chip off the rim.
