Glazed composition (faience) amulet of Anubis; mould-made and covered with a blue glaze (mostly worn away); perforated for suspension at the shoulder; human figure with a jackal head standing on a low plinth.

- For other examples of Anubis pendants from Amathus, see Clerc 1991, 97 and passim. Another example occurs in the sanctuary at Kition-Kathari (Clerc et al. 1976, 118). Lagarce (in Clerc et al. 1976, 167-74) provides a useful overview of the use and significance of Egyptianizing amulets and scarabs on Cyprus which often differ from those found in Egyptian contexts.
