Glazed composition (faience) amuletic figure of Anubis; mould-made and covered in a blue-green glaze; perforated for suspension through the neck; human with jackal head standing on a low plinth; glaze cracked and worn in places.

- For other examples of Anubis pendants from Amathus, see Clerc 1991, 97 and passim. Another example occurs in the sanctuary at Kition-Kathari (Clerc et al. 1976, 118). Lagarce (in Clerc et al. 1976, 167-74) provides a useful overview of the use and significance of Egyptianizing amulets and scarabs on Cyprus which often differ from those found in Egyptian contexts.
