Blue glazed composition (faience) amuletic figure of Shu; mould-made and covered with a blue-green glaze; kneeling figure on a low base, hands on each side of his head supported a sun disc; perforated for suspension through the pillar at the back of the figure.

- For other examples of Shu pendants from Amathus, see Clerc 1991, 114 and passim. Lagarce (in Clerc et al. 1976, 167-74) provides a useful overview of the use and significance of Egyptianizing amulets and scarabs on Cyprus which often differ from those found in Egyptian contexts.
