- Curator's comments
- For other examples of wedjat-eye pendants from Amathus, and a discussion of their symbolism, see Clerc 1991, 133-9. Clerc et al. 1976, 118-19 describes many examples from cultic contexts in Kition, while Lagarce in Clerc et al. 1976, 167-74 is a valuable overview of the use of Egyptianising scarabs and pendants on Cyprus.
