Description
Mediterranean Group 3 glass alabastron or flask; core-formed and trailed; elongated body with carinated lower end; narrow neck and an everted disc mouth; opposing lug handles; vessel made from translucent dark blue glass; decorated with opaque yellow and white trails which are feathered vertically above the carination, below which are horizontal parallel bands; part of the lower body is missing, with signs of denting during the manufacturing process; some iridescence but the surface is otherwise well preserved.
