Description
Mould-made pottery lamp with a voluted nozzle with prominent volute-spines. The discus is decorated with a frieze of gladiatorial armour, including small deep buckler, helmets, knife, pair of greaves and shields. The lamp stands on a base-ring. Buff clay, covered in a streaky dark brown slip.
