Rim and body sherd of Chian Wild Goat Style pottery flanged lid; underside reserved; top slipped white: from centre: tongue pattern; wide black band; frieze of concentric circles linked by triple lines decorated with petals; black band; row of dots at rim.

- Curator's comments
- The sherd belongs to the same vase as British Museum 1888,0601.499.a and Boston 88.1085. The Boston sherd is identified as having been found in the Sanctuary of the Dioskouroi. In all likelihood, so did the other sherds.
Lemos takes the sherd as coming from a dish, but the flange is visible.
