Body sherd of large Chian Wild Goat Style pottery chalice with handle root; white slip; interior glazed streaky black with two added white bands at transition to handle zone; exterior: painted decoration consisting of hind legs of panther (dotted circles and arcs on legs) to left and uncertain object to the right; below in handle zone, double guilloche pattern and handle root with surrounding tongue pattern; band below handle

Lemos places this sherd in the Würzburg Chalice Group. The sherds from this group display stylistic similarities to the two Würzburg chalices, see Lemos 1991, pl. 20-1, no. 236-7.
