- Curator's comments
-
The sherd belongs to the same krater as British Museum 1886, 0401.673 and joins 1924,1201.1306.
C. W. Neeft (personal communication) considers that the vessel may not be Corinthian as there are questions about the origin of the fabric.
-
The added colour under the handle is peculiar; it is not apparently symmetrical and would seem too far right to be central beneath the handle roots.
