Rim and body sherd of Attic black-figured pottery lidless lekanis with handle; interior: glazed black with added red band at transition between rim and bowl; top of rim reserved with red band at outer edge and black band at inner edge; handle black, reserved on inside; exterior: black-figure decoration consisting of sphinx (head and legs missing; red on wing and two strokes on ribs), to left; at right, part of another animal, possibly a siren (only chest and start of wing remaining).
