(a) Maenad with long chiton and apoptygma, hair looped up, running to left, looking back. With thyrsos couched like a spear in her right hand, and left arm extended and covered with a nebris as a shield, she prepares to repel
(b) A bearded satyr who steps cautiously after her, his body bent and right foot advanced.
On the foot an incised character A.
