Description
Pottery flask or juglet in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; globular body on a turned base, slightly concave underneath; narrow neck with central ridge flaring outwards to a trumpet mouth; arching handle from shoulder to neck-ridge; red clay (much mica) with polished surface instead of a slip, decorated in black paint: parallel bands on the body, single bands on the neck, and a single group of concentric circles on the shoulder.
