Pottery dish or plate in White Painted ware; shallow concave body, carinated at the bottom, with a slightly inturning rim; low ring base; two opposing wish-bone handles (one now missing); buff clay and slip, decorated in purple-brown paint: inside is a central spiral surrounded by a broad band, outside an elaborate geometric decoration of solid and hatched lozenges within a rectangular panel resembling a basket, also hatched triangles, groups of short parallel strokes at intervals on the ring base, and concentric circles, solid handles.
