Description
Marble wall block from the temple of Athena at Priene, inscribed on two sides. The inscription on the front records the gift of funds from Alexander the Great to complete the temple. The inscription on the side (Inscription 403A) records the award made by Rhodes concerning the disputed lands by Karion and Dryussa, and is in favour of Priene.
