Pottery Bichrome-Red ware crater (wine-mixing bowl) or jar; wheel-made; ovoid-spherical body on a high splaying foot; low but wide cylindrical neck; everted horizontal rim; pair of opposing handles of composite form: double-rib vertical handles connected to the body by a triple-rib support. Made of buff clay with a dull red slip, decorated with red, black and white paint: bands, panels of lotus-flowers and concentric circles.

- See Fourrier (2010, 328 no. 9 and figs 7a-b, refs) for a discussion of the shape which belongs to a Cypriot series derived from imported Greek craters (wine mixing bowls). Some have animal-headed handles, one of several major departures from the prototype made by the local potter.
